Located in the
south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, close to the Washington State border, at 3.5 hrs from
Vancouver, Keremeos enjoys wonderful weather all year long. This
is a very popular tourist area in the summer time. With its mild
winter temperatures and popular skiing destinations close by, Keremeos
is a highly desirable location year 'round.
The Similkameen Valley is one of the
most desirable areas for real estate in British Columbia.
The PASTA TRADING POST is a
fine food restaurant, combined with an antique store and Bed and
Breakfast. It was  created from an old general store located in
an historic building.
This Keremeos landmark was built
in the early 1900's. The facing is totally original and this is the
only building of its kind left in town.
The structure has been recently
renovated with an exceptional eye for detail and attention to its
historic flavour.
The interior was completely
remodeled in the 'Old Western' style and decorated with
refinement. In addition, the patio area has been built with  massive beams from the old
"Ashnola Bridge" and
the wrought iron gates were also created from materials from the old
bridge. All of this, however, has been added with an intense
preoccupation of integration with the original building.
The total area on the main floor
is 440 sq meters or 4400 sq ft.
The PASTA TRADING POST has been in operation since October 1996
and has built a loyal and growing clientele. This is an excellent
family business or for the partners who would like to run the
businesses separately.
